Situated at approximately 25 km from the Côte St André, Lake Paladru: 5th largest natural lake in France - the « Blue Lake »
Exceptional because of the beauty of the surroundings and its crystal-clear waters, lake Paladru offers relaxation areas and many leisure activities.
Lake Paladru was formed during the ice age by the powerful Rhone glacier. Its surface area makes it the fifth largest natural lake in France. Situated in the hollow of the Voiron hills at 500 m altitude, its waters reach the ideal temperature of 25° C at the height of summer.

6 supervised and equipped beaches surround the lake which is 6 km long, 1 km at its widest and has a surface area of 968 acres.
Several areas are classified "protected natural resort". They provide a haven for nesting birds (mallards, swans, coots or great crested grebes) and fish fry (carp, tench)...
