This museum evokes the history of the resistance in the Vercors mountain range by means of a collection of objects and photos of the time. It is located in the centre of the village of Vassieux-en-Vercors. It was founded in 1973 by Joseph La Picerella who gave the collection to the Drôme region in 1999. This active member of the resistance joined the resistance fighters on February 1st, 1944 and has never since ceased to make the Vercors tragedy known to the world. He collects witness accounts, edits several works, on which the Resistance Museum was founded.
