At the gateway of the Grenoble agglomeration, this family hiking trail along the foothills of the Vercors mountain range, provides an opportunity for a cool walk followed by a climb up to the re-emergence of the Cuves de Sassenage, the realm of the "fée Mélusine" (Mélusine fairy).
All along the trail, numerous platforms have been installed to allow you to admire, below, the waterfalls and the weathering pits of the Furon river. The trail continues to rise gently and you can hear the rumble of a waterfall which can only be seen from the opposite bank. Then the trail veers towards the cliffs and takes you to the re-emergence of the Cuves de Sassenage (368 m). On arrival, a powerful torrent, "le Germe", gushes, like a miracle, from the bowels of the earth ...
